Treat your staff to a fun filled Team Away Day in our extensive grounds.

We have thousands of acres here at Kelburn to play in, although most of the activity is based around the Castle and the Country Centre.

You are free to bring along your own facilitator for more serious team building exercises around the Castle, or you could enjoy a fun filled day with our Ranger Service, enjoying one of the following

• Scavenger Hunt – this utilises the Sculpture Trail where groups are divided into teams. Each team has to look for clues and answer questions on wildlife, nature and the environment as they walk around the trail.
• Blindfold/Sensory Trail- this activity take place in the woods behind the Castle. The teams are blindfolded and lead by an elected leader; they follow a string trail using all their senses to identify objects, sounds and tastes along the way.
• Environmental Art Challenge-using natural materials gathered from the Castle woodland teams are asked to create their own piece of environmental art.

These are just samples of the activities that we can provide, and can take from 1 to 1 ½ hours each, or can be made into a morning and afternoon session. While they are still challenging enough to test the mind, they are also a lot of fun, which is the whole reason for treating staff/clients to Team Away days.

If you were looking for something a little different, and wanted to impress your staff or clients with the stunning scenery surrounding Kelburn, we have our own stables and horses here, and are able to offer horse trekking around the Estate; duration and cost would depend on the riders experience, although we cater for all levels of experience….if necessary a half hour lesson could be incorporated at the start of the trek.

Offsite activities

• We can arrange clay shooting, from a 25 target session, through to a 100 target session.
• Trout fishing can also be arranged, from a 4 hour, 2 fish session , up to a 8 hour, 5 fish session.
• We can also offer trips around the Cumbraes and other islands on the Firth of Clyde.
